What do the following mean in the /tcb/files/auth/system/default file?

:u_lock:\

Also , when using the password restriction option, what are the default password rules?

You can also go to SAM, security and look at the various details available.

It will tell you things like passwd expiry in days, failed login attempts allowed, password length etc.
