sed/awk help

I have two files. One file has two columns, separated by tab. the other file has just one column. How can I combine these two files to have one file with 3 columns?

Re: sed/awk help

Hi Kevin,

How about using 'paste'.
This is how to combine two files into a third, with the same number of lines.

# paste -d"\t" wrk2 wrk3 >wrk4

Never heard of paste before, but it is perfect. Thanks Mike.
