Server Build Details

Is there a way I can find out when a specific server was built, i.e had the OS first installed?

Hi Nyck,

if you look in /var/adm/sw/swinstall.log it should give you a good idea of when the server was built. (First entry) Providing that the log hasn't be deleted at some point.

Use swlist:

swlist -l product -a install_date OS-Core
