Service-guard, NFS and SAP Permission denied
Hi,
We have an issue on a new cluster we have built. Whenever we start the package on the primary node. We are using automount to mount the NFS directories on the package IP. Although when you do a mount -p everything looks fine U actually get permission denied when you attempt to CD into the /usr/sap/trans area. The strange thing is when you fail the package over to the standby node the automount works fine on both hosts. Before u ask we are using proto=udp in our auto.direct file.
I have seen a couple of forum threads on this problem however there did not appear to be a resolution. Has anyone seen this before. We are not sure where to go with this.
Thanks

Re: Service-guard, NFS and SAP Permission denied
Shalom,
Check the permissions on the directory you are cd'ing into versus the user you are using.
Make sure the user you are using exists on the NFS share.
