Re: service gurad related problem

hi,

check the cluster logs / packages logs.

/etc/cmcluster/[cluster name]/[package name].cntl.log

and also in syslog.log

/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

docu about Serviceguard :

Re: service gurad related problem

Some quick questions:

Has the package switching ever tested & succeeded?

YES:
1. check syslog and the cluster/package logs are mikap pointed.
2. What change to the cluster had you recently done?

NO:Check the pkg.config file (Not the control file).
At the NODE_NAME section; then check if the adoptive node's name has been entered.
If not, the pkg switching wont take place.

Let us know the progress...

Re: service gurad related problem

#cmmodpkg -e pkg_name

check the pkg_cntl.log and syslog for further errors.

Re: service gurad related problem

use cmviewcl -v to check whether the adoptive node is enabled to run the package. If not, then do cmmodpkg -e -n pkg_name
and check again
