Thanks

Re: ServiceGuard license

Gopinath,

If I'm reading correctly, the sales rep. wanted your software support 'system handle' that verified paid support for SG from HP. The 'system handle' term has been replaced by the 'SAID' (service account IDentifier). It's a 12 digit number that will not be on your system(s). You'll have to call HP support for this info. Just have the system serial number on hand and they can look it up for you that way. They should be able to transfer you over to codewords to get a codeword for unlocking SG from the app media after support is verified.

Re: ServiceGuard license

contact you hp representative who sold you the initial system to get this information. They are looking for software support handle not handleR, so that they can determine how much extra money to charge you for the support of the new version. There is no way that I know to look up this information on your system as it has nothing to do on your system running serviceguard software. It is a record locator for you on HPs contract management computer.

Sorry for the bad news. I am sure this is not what you wanted to hear.
