Re: ServiceGuard manager over Firewall?
Serviceguard Manager uses cmomd (part of Cluster Object Manager). /etc/inetd.conf shows that service is awakened by hacl-probe (tcp)
# grep hacl-probe /etc/services
hacl-probe 5303/tcp # HA Cluster TCP probe
hacl-probe 5303/udp # HA Cluster UDP probe
Port 5303 is used to awaken cmomd.
If you have the latest SG patch loaded on your cluster nodes, you must add the IP/hostname of the Serviceguard Manager system in /etc/hosts on the cluster nodes.
# grep hacl-probe /etc/services
hacl-probe 5303/tcp # HA Cluster TCP probe
hacl-probe 5303/udp # HA Cluster UDP probe
Port 5303 is used to awaken cmomd.
If you have the latest SG patch loaded on your cluster nodes, you must add the IP/hostname of the Serviceguard Manager system in /etc/hosts on the cluster nodes.
