SG upgrade vA.11.15 to A.11.16 problem

When upgrading via rolling upgrade first node from pre september to september release the node fails to go back into the cluster.
Give following error:
Warning: Unable to get local cluster configuration. Ether no cluster configuration file exists, the file is corrupt, cmclconfd is unable to run, or user root on node "psds01: doesent have access to view the configuration.

I checked the cmclnodelist file it looks fine.

When running cmquerycl -c "clustername"
it coplains about the node versions not being the same.

Re: SG upgrade vA.11.15 to A.11.16 problem

Are you certain your using the active ascii file ???

Try running cmviewconf -o .
Sometimes this has helped me..

Rgrds,
Rita

I just upgraded several servers at two sites from 11.14 go 11.16. Might help if we knew what you did...maybe we could see something from that.

cmviewconf output:

Either binary file does not exist or user doesn't have access to view the cluster configuration.

I am logged in as root and the cmclconfig file does exist.

What do you have in cmclnodelist? IP or host names?

If you have IP, try to change in to host names and try again.

Change IP addresses in /etc/cmcluster/cmnodelist to node names.
