sgerac-oracle 10g
thank you !!!!!
1.I know that mc/sg for oracle active/standby working mode,if I have two instance , I should configure two packages ( within two nodes, one package run on node_a, another run on node_b)
2.Now I want to configure sgerac for oracle 10g with 2 nodes(node-a,node-b)
a.each node configured a instance:instance1,instance2,and the two instance share the same datafile of oracle
b.but how can I configure the cluster file and the sg's package configure file and package control file
c.should I also configure two packages same as the active/standby configuration .

Re: sgerac-oracle 10g
Hi,
Once you install sgerac, you can have RAC and non RAC instances on the same node! Are you trying to migrate?
In RAC configurations the packages will be configured to run on one node only without failover, and package will not have IP address. You have to share the VG and configure the same VG for both packages. Rest all managed by RAC itself. You should also have a high speed interconnect for cache fusion. (Recommended is Hyper fabric)
