The HP-UX porting site has a lot http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/ , however I rarely seem to find what I'm looking for there.
Interex sends out a tape with all the latest goodies on it for their members. It has Perl, gcc, Apache... .Well you get the point. I don't remember if I paid to become a member, but if there was a fee it was nominal.

I guess it depends on what stuff you are looking for.
I find everything I need from the porting utah site such as apache and perl.

For performance, top, which comes with the machine is a real good start.

For the gzip go to http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gzip-1.2.4a/

What else might you be looking for?

HP generally ships gzip/gunzip with the OS. It should be located in /usr/contrib/bin/g[un]zip. Also, HP has ported quite a few of the gnu utilities. They are available from the following URL (I believe the software are in depot format):
