sharing volume group

Hi,
i have created a new volume group, i want to activate it in shared mode plz help.
amdb01#uname -a
HP-UX amdb01 B.11.23 U ia64 2321177401 unlimited-user license

Shalom,

vgchange controls this.

as the man page indicates the -c -s flags let you activate a volume group in clustered or shared mode.

Take note that you also need to have an application that knows on all nodes how to handle this mode or you get data corruption very quickly.

THis should only be used for Oracle RAC.
