snmp API or snmpget/walk light tool to on HPUX 11i v2 ia 64 for integrity rx4640

Hello,

From an ia64 integrity rx4640 server running HPUX 11i v2, we want to monitor the operational status of 2/3 ports on 4 hp switches of an internal network.

Is there any snmp API or some snmpget/walk light tool to perform such operation.
Licensing ?

We can not install the famous NNM on our platform.
Any suggestion is welcome.

For example, ethereal package includes a free "UCD-SNMP".
