our Net OPS guy had MRTG setup on a box, I want to be able to use MRTG to graph performance on my UX system.. We have an N Class system with Quad CPUs, 6gb or so of RAM, 2 SC10 disk enclosures.. Would like to monitor and graph CPU, Memory, disk. the net ops guy has been tinkering with OIDs and such. He's been able to run getif against the UX server we want to monitor. Is there any good info on how to setup an MRTG cfg file that would be fairly straight forward? Any thought or experiences appreciated..

SolutionYou can probably use that, but I'd cross reference the MIB values with the HP-UX MIB, described in /var/opt/OV/share/snmp_mibs/Vendor/Hewlett-Packard/hp-unix on systems with HP Openview products installed.
