Regarding the alerts concerning snmp, is there
any fix/patch for regular servers besides
turning SNMP off in /etc/services (commenting it out)?.
Thanks,
Randy

Solution
Look at the Openview patches PHSS_26137 for HPUX 10.X and PHSS_26138 for HPUX 11.X. These patches are labeled OV Emanate, but they replace snmpdm and restart it also. The security bulletin from ITRC indicated that these patches could be used to shore up systems even if they do not have Openview products installed.
