Re: SNMP

Hi Cowboy:

You must configure the comunnity. please check /etc/snmopd.conf for update rocommunity. Is not recommended public because is the community by default.

Then you mast restar snmpd with /sbin/init.d/snmpd stop && /sbin/init.d/snmpd start

Re: SNMP

First make sure that snmp is running.

I opted to use the net-snmp package from HP Internet Express. http://h20338.www2.hp.com/hpux11i/cache/324414-0-0-0-121.html There is a problem with memory values returned on HP UX/Integrity which HP is reviewing. Perhaps another user with the same issue may help.

It seems the stock snmp provides limited details.

I found this thread extremely helpful: http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1289501

As far as HP-UX goes, I consider myself a new user and the forum search tools have been very useful.
