Some question about Secure Shell

Hi all
I've got an HP-UX server and configure it to use ssh to log on in network.
Now I want to know how can I configure it so that I can determin who can ssh the machine and who cannot.
Thanks in advance

Re: Some question about Secure Shell

Shalom,

You have several good options.

If you wish to go my user name, the first post is sufficient.

If you wish to limit access by hostname or ip address, tcp wrappers might be a better choice.

Re: Some question about Secure Shell

Though an additional tcp wrapper may be fine,
it isn't strictly necessary.
Just an excerpt from man sshd
_config => AllowUsers:

If the pattern takes the form USER@HOST
then USER and HOST are separately checked, restricting logins to
particular users from particular hosts.
