source of HP-UX Kerberos client

We have to respond to a security vulnerability (IAVA) for MIT Kerberos version 5-1.6.1. Is the HP Kerberos client based on the MIT source? If so, when will a patch or compliant HP version be available?

Yes, HP Kerberos client is based on the MIT source. HP's latest Kerberos client version is D.1.3.5.07 which is based on MIT Kerberos V5 1.3.5 release. So I think if HP release their next version of Kerberos client based on MIT Kerberos V5 1.6.1 in future, the IAVA should be taken care of.
