Hi,
I am using a make_boot_tape command to create a bootable tape as my Ignite UX server is sitting in different subnet.
Due to some performance issue, for the client side I want to be able to specify the rsize and wsize.
However, I can't find any of this option after I use the tape to bootup. Should I choose the run recovery shell opion instead of a install hpux option?
Any help will be appreciated.

Solution
To get the NFS options on the make_boot_tape tape you need to moditfy the INSTALLFS _before_ you create the tape.
On the system where you run the make_boot_tape command:
PATH=$PATH:/opt/ignite/bin
cd /var/tmp
instl_adm -d > ia
echo "init _hp_nfs_mount_opts=\"-orsize=1024 -owsize=1024\"" >> ia
instl_adm -f ia
make_boot_tape
Now when you boot of off the tape the NFS options will be in place.
When booted from the tape you can select "Advanced Options" from the initial Install menu (the one with 3 choices, Install, Recovery, Advanced)
and in that sub-menu select "Edit config file". This will load vi from the Ignite server and then you will see in the editor the contents that you put in INSTALLFS.

instl_adm -f ia
make_boot_tape
