I've got a new application being installed in a couple of locations that apparently requires WINS resolution. I have a wins server already set up for other reasons, but the DHCP at the new locations is being provided by HP-UX. I do not see a way to specify an wins server within the HPUX DHCP framework. Am I missing something or do I need to find another solution for DHCP at these locations?
Thank you
Gary

Re: Specify WINS server address with HPUX DHCP?
Shalom,
WINS is supported by samba(CIFS/9000) in the smb.conf file configuation.
Client
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=B8724AA
Server
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=B8725AA
You need to install both for proper operation and the client has a kernel change that requires a reboot.
