I am installing a new system and I was looking for an easy way to set-up a multitude of printers. I was hoping I could find the files that SAM uses for the spooler backup/restore so I could copy it/them form an existing system to the new system and then use SAM to restore on the new system. Anyone know where SAM keeps this backup/restore file(s).
Thanks !!!
Thanks !!!

Re: spooler restore via SAM
Never mind I found it.. Just tar the /var/sam/lp directory then move it to the new system. Then use SAM to do a spooler restore. What a great way to install 200+ printers to a new system. Beats making a script.

Re: spooler restore via SAM
Hi,
SAM saves the lp spooler config in the directory: /var/sam/lp

Andrew
