SSH for HP-UX with 10.20 OS

Does anyone know what version of SSH is supported with 10.20 HP-UX OS? The A.03.50 version notes does not list 10.20 as a supported OS version. Thanks

You will have to obtain and compile the open source version.

It's getting to be darn near impossible to find 10.20 software any more. I couldn't come up with ssh itself, but did find "A GPL replacement for ssh" at http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Shells/lsh-1.2.2/
if that's any help.

I think you need to download and compile openssh from the HP-UX porting centre;

Latest version is 3.6.1p1. I dont think you should have a problem downloading and compiling it. You need to install, or download and compile, all the dependencies first.

Some of these dependencies are available at http://software.hp.com

You are best to look there first unless they totally pulled out the 10.20 stuff.

Btw, OpenSSH 3.6.1p2 is the latest portable release of OpenSSH (dated 29 Apr 2003). On the other hand, OpenSSH 3.6.1p1 is dated earlier on 1 Apr 2003.

Have you tried calling SSH to get the media? (650)-251-2700 If you are licensed, you should be able to get it for free. I still have my 3.0 media that I got when we purchased our licenses. It works just fine on 10.20 and states its compatibility on the back of the CD case.

Note that the latest version of OpenSSH is actually openssh-3.6.1p2 dated 29 Apr 2003 whereas openssh-3.6.1p1 was dated 01 Apr 2003.
