ssh is the commericial version from ssh.org (in the Netherlands) openssh is a non-commerical freeware-type version. We stick with ssh, as the support structure is there from them. (We are a University, but have purchased 1 license of the commercial version that we have support on. We have never had to use the support for it, though.)

A fully compiled and tested HP-UX Secure Shell will be available at http://www.software.hp.com by June 6, 2002, and on application CD starting from Sept 2002 for HP-UX 11.0 and 11i.

HP-UX secure shell(T1471AA), ported from OpenSSH3.1p1, is supported under the HP-UX support agreement.

You can down load the openssh from HP software porting center.
Don't forget to install openssl and zlib before you install openssh.
