Re: ssh
HP does not currently sell a product that allows encryption of shell
sessions over the internet based upon SSH (There are Virtual Private Network
(VPN) solutions but this would not provide encrypted communications outside
the VPN).
SSH Communications Security Ltd can provide this solution. They sell and
support a version of the Secure Shell that runs on HP-UX, SSH Secure Shell.
Information regarding this product can be found at the following URLs:
http://www.ssh.org
http://www.ssh.com
http://www.ipsec.com
HP does not provide support for SSH, this information is here purely for

recommendation by HP for any particular implmenetation of SSH.

Re: ssh
Thank you very much for your response.
I was told by another HP-UX admin that there was a port for hpux. He couldn't remember where he found it.
Was just thinking that I could use the forum to find it.
Thanks again.

Solution
True "ssh" is a licensed product by someone other than HP, and pretty pricy. You may want to visit "www.openssh.org" to see if they have precompiled HP-UX software. If not, you can download and compile, but you should either have gcc or HP's ANSI-C compiler installed first.
