Hi all,
I have a server and a workstation wich connect with the server using ssh. I want to use scp to copy files from the server to the workstation even if I have to use rhost. I don??t know how to configure the sshd_config of the workstation to allow scp from the server.
Any help will be useful,
Thanks and regards,
R.O.

Re: sshd_config
Once you configure the ssh, there is no need to configure scp seperately.
ssh can work in three ways-host based authentication, pub/private keys based and password based.
Once you set host base authentication to allow certain users/hosts to have access to the server you can use scp as you use rcp.
For private/public key based authentication, you will have to generate the private, public keys. Public keys will have to be distributed to the nodes where you want to connect.
Once set up you can use scp. These keys can have null character as passwords rather pass phrase. i.e no paswwords.

Solution
Here is a document(attached) that says exactly how to create and exchange public keys. The document uses X-Windows, it is possible to do it without X-Windows.
