Are there more than one version of hpux 11.0 and if there are what is the current most stable version.
ex 10.10 10.20 10.30 and 10.20 being most stable.

Hi Donald:
HP-UX 11.0 is quite mature, certainly stable, and far more feature-rich than 10.x. HP-UX 11.11 (a.k.a. "11i") has just recently been released. While 10.20 is still supported, its demise is clearly on the horizon. See the url below for the actual target dates:

Re: Stable Version of 11.0
Currently, there is 11.0 and 11i (11.11). If I were upgrading, I would go to 11i. It has many 11.0 patch fixes included in it. Also, new functionality, like processor, sets will be released on 11i in the near future.
11i is the OS base for the "Operating Environments". Instead of purchasing layered products individually, you just purchase an OE package that includes several products. For instance, the Mission Critical OE includes ServiceGuard, ECM, Workload Manager, etc..
