Solution
Hi,
The ISL is not yet capable of identifying HFS file systems. In /stand the UNIX kernel is found and loaded. The kernel will then have the necessary drivers to read all the other type of filesystem.
Here is some additional information:
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/framedisplay?top=/hpux/onlinedocs/B9106-90003/B9106-90003_top.html&con=/hpux/onlinedocs/B9106-90003/00/00/20-con.html&toc=/hpux/onlinedocs/B9106-90003/00/00/20-toc.html&searchterms=HFS%7cISL&queryid=20040320-064937
with best wishes
Naveej

Re: /stand HFS??
hi,
The Firmware can quickly understand HFS filesystem and /stand is the filesystem which communicates with the firmeware first so it has to be HFS.
