i need to build stape driver for scsi tape drive...how do i do it...using command line interface....bcoz sam interface is not available.....can i use kmtune,kctune...etc....

Since man is not accessible for me....can u please please give me the exact syntax of it...
kcmodule -c "what is config_name??"
Also i am not able to access kernel config thro sam...what is the reason...i have only kcweb option...for hpux 11i v2 4640 itanium..
its urgent ...

The thing is that apache is not installed..as a result kcweb is not accessible..
Can u tell me why i am not getting another kernel config option apart from kcweb....
And also the kcmodule syntax..

Just check with "sam". It has got kernel tuning capabilities.

As far as I know a kernel configuration option is standard on sam unless you are not root and have been given restricted sam access.
If you are root then there may be a problem with sam.
There does appear to be something fundamentally missing with your OS installation. Is it possible to reinstall?
