Stm is unable to establish a connection

Hi,

My Workstation is a B2600 running HP-UX 11i
When I start stm, the command returns :

"The connection between the UI and the Unit Under Test (UUT) machines is down.
Hostname (!) could not be connected.
Please Refer to the UI Activity Log for more details"

The mother board has been changed 4 days ago and I wonder if I need to reinitialize some parameters to make STM working again

Any idea ?

well did you look at the UI Activity log?

echo uial | cstm

should get you that

Incidentally, I can get that message on my workstation if diagmond isn't running.

Is it running on your system?

You can start/stop it with:

/sbin/init.d/diagnostic start
/sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop
