Stuck in a time warp?
Hi all,
I recently submitted a question to ITRC regarding gettin pages with old content. I received this reply from them, and wanted to pass it on in case anyone else experiences the same problem. Here's my question:
I posted a message, returned to the specific area, (in this case, HPUX-Databases), then clicked on the next level up (HPUX). When I hit refresh, I get only postings from 01/05/01 and back, but today is 01/08/01!
And here's Shayne's answer/workaround:
Hello Maureen,
You found a bug in our system. Some pages are showing old content. Until we
fix this bug, use the following workaraound to see the current content:
Go to the page, for instance HPUX. At the bottom of the page, click page 2.
On the page 2, go to the bottom of the page and click page 1. Trust this
view of the page more than going to the page directly.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Shayne

By the way, it works great!
