superdome and 10.20

Hi,

Can a HP9000 superdome running HP-UX 11.xx present a partition able to run 10.20 ??

I know 10.20 is end of life/not supported, it's more a question of is it possible.

thanks,
Sue

Re: superdome and 10.20

No this is not possible.
SuperDome is a 64bit system, 10.20 was only 32bit is just one reason

Re: superdome and 10.20

Not possible. You have to run 11i (11.11) OR you can get special dispensation from HP to run 11.0 if you really have to for application reasons (but 11.0 64bit - not 32bit).

Re: superdome and 10.20

As pointed-out, you cannot run 10.20 on a Superdome (or partition thereof). Not only is is not supported, it will not work.

However, your 10.20 applications will likely work running in a partition on the Superdome running supported 11.whatever OS bits. (So long as they don't try to go grubbing around the kernel...)
