Swap space not getting used.....

Hi All,

Actually,In a server we have specified swap space of 8GB, but the thing is that it's not getting used.Please tell me the reason,why its nt getting used????????

What command did you use? swapinfo -tam?
Not using swap is a GOOD thing. See this thread with a similar question:

See my documation on performance cookbook and swap space not getting used is definitely healthy. because you have sufficient physical memory
