swinstall issue...

Hi,

I'm facing some issue with swinstall. Whenever I try to install any product with swinstall , the analysis and execution face will succeed and after will get a error "one of the post install script failed. Install_clean failed". My OS ver=11.00

Could anyone help me to solve this issue..

what is the exact error you are getting? May be install script is expecting some thing.?

Post that error informations or full execution of swinstall.

Anil ,

You can check and verify the logs in /var/adm/sw/swagent.log

You will get message like: "The Execution Phase succeeded." if its ok.

What do you have in
/var/adm/sw/swagent.log
/var/adm/sw/swinstall.log

for a given failed install ?

I think for proper analysis we will need the install log file.

could you check your PATH variable, is there a path before /usr/bin:/usr/sbin ?

It's not that I'm trying to install Medusa. Any product installation ends with same error.
