Switch from GUI to TTY console

We have removed the Graphics Head from two Class C servers and connected the serial ports to a terminal server.

I need to stop the X server from trying to start. Any clues anyone?

Lesley

Run /usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -d and reboot.

/usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e puts it back again.

Computers make it easier to do a lot of things, but most of the things they make it easier to do don't need to be done.
