I have to do a script that invoke swremove command.
I need to run it without any question or any other feature of swremove (like open a dedicate window when it runs etc. etc.)
If I don't remember bad, the syntax was:
swremove -i
where depot_name is the software viewed with swlit
Is this right?
Many thanks.
Best Regards.
Fabrizio

Solution# /usr/sbin/swremove
If needed, add the autoreboot=true option.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: swremove invoked by ksh script
If you don't remember the syntax, why not consult the manpages?
# man swremove
(or):
http://docs.hp.com/en/hpuxman_pages.html
Regards!

Re: swremove invoked by ksh script
swremove -i
-i means interactive.
This dog isn't going to hunt (I miss that phrase).
Your script can swremove depots with the right additional parameters. The concept of script based software removal and a script are mutually exclusive ways to handle the software removal.
