Syslog For Telnet Session

Hello,

I would like to know if there is conf file to modify syslog entry so that I can see each telnet session IP addresses. Currently I can see ftp session IP, not telnet or remote access.

Thanks a lot for help.

Re: Syslog For Telnet Session

The conf file for syslog is located in /etc

/etc/syslog.conf

I am not sure if you can specify what you want to see.

Re: Syslog For Telnet Session

hi,

If you enable logging for inetd, it should be logged. Use inet -l to activate logging (or to deactivate it, it's a toggle)

Regards.
