syslog question
Hello!
Our security wants me to forward all syslog messages to their server 514/udp. But I need the syslog messages too.
Is it possible to forward syslog messages over network and store copy locally?

Re: syslog question
I found answer.
*.alert /dev/console
*.alert root,eric,kridle
*.emerg *
*.emerg @admin
I can add one more line with facility.level and forward messages to log collector.

Re: syslog question
AFAIK you shouldn't need to use a separate line for that, it can also be defined in a single line ;)
