If I want to downgrade hpux11 from 64 bit to 32 bit OS. Do I need to reinstall the OS or
there is an easier way to do it ?

You dont have to reinstall 32bit in order to revert back from 11-64bit to 11-32bit but seeing as the generally recommended opinion for upgrading from 11-32bit to 11-64bit is to reinstall, due to massive problems trying to upgrade, I wouldnt recommend trying to reinstall the OS-core-32bit fileset to downgrade. Be safe, save yourself a lot of heartache, reinstall the 11-32bit OS from CD.
