Look at the 'HPUX Software Recovery Handbook'. It is found at: http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/iv/node.do?node=prod%2FWW_Start%2FN1%7C16 It has a bunch of different papers on various aspects of HPUX system admin. The papers are written by HP engineers for 'people who want to know'
