System management homepage-password for kcweb
I have a problem when i tried to enter to kcweb on my server on the port 2301.
When the system management homepage is open i enter the root user and the password, but i can't enter to kcweb. I reinstall the product but the problema is the same.
Somebody can tell me if this is the user that i can need enter to the SMH??
Please help.

You might need to install the latest version of kcweb. You can download it from here

You may need to install latest pdweb as well.

I change the password the root, but the problem persist.
I tried to install the new version of smh, but i have the following messages:
SysMgmtHomepage.SMH-RUN,r=A.2.2.6.1 cannot be resolved.

Some applications are limited to 8.

On a side note, I tend to stay away from all the SMH/WBEM tools. I did try to use them since they require less training for our junior admins but they are immature, at least on 11iv2, and especially insecure. If I were you, I'd save myself the trouble and use kctune instead.

# swlist -l fileset SysMgmtBase
The SysMgmtBASE v B.00.02.02 product must be install first or at the same time as the SMH v 2.2.5. It is only available on the September 2006 application DVD or CDs.

THE CONECTION WAS REFUSED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT HP00PB0A:1188.
I don't see the port 1188 on the /etc/services; i need only add the port on the /etc/services or maybe do a procedure for it?
