Typically, the major items monitored are CPU, memory, disk and network. What tool are you using to monitor your systems? If people knew that, they might suggest something more specific.

Most of what you need to monitor your hardware is found in EMS. Just load the latest copy from your SupportPlus CDROM or download a copy from http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayInstallInfo.do?productNumber=B7609BA

You should also have the online diagnostics installed (part of the SupportPlus CDROM too) or download the latest from http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayInstallInfo.do?productNumber=B6191AAE
