Talk to Autochanger( MSL6060 ) via OS

I want to rule out that the OS can communicate with the autochanger. Is there a command to do that? I ran ioscan and can see the autoch as CLAIMED.

hi,

we are using Veritas netbackup server and the master server on HP-UX can manage the robot with the utility robtest.
