- We have a HPVisualize Workstation.
- When we try to access via telnet from PCs, system answer with message:
HP-UX istelhp B.10.20 A 9000/785 (ttyp1)
login: root
Password:
Sorry. Maximum number of users already logged in.
- If we try to connect via Exceed software or similar message doesn?t appear and qe can go into.
Could anyone help?

See if you have any logic in /.profile that checks for current sessions via 'who'.

Do you have 2-user license(uname -l)?
You may be having a licensing issue.
You may try installing a free upgrade to unlimited user license from
https://software.hp.com/cgi-bin/swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/try.pl?productNumber=UNLIMUSERLIC&date=

SolutionAFAIK, its a free upgrade, you do however have to fill out pertinent information name/address/phone number etc
The link i gave you works and it lets you download the depot as well.

I?d actualized license with link?s software and now telnet works well.
