Telnet session disconnect unexpected

This is 11.11. It disconnect me while I am typing, and only after logged in for a minute.
What's going on?

Re: Telnet session disconnect unexpected

Take a look at the file /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

There may be a message in there.

If root does fuser -cuk /var

All telnet sessions will terminate. Check your cron schedule with crontab -l for suspicious stuff.

Check the TMOUT variable in the user profile.

Re: Telnet session disconnect unexpected

Yes, something in syslog.log will be recorded like 'remote peer disconnected'.

Got a VPN?

Got a sniffer? If not then here's 'tcpdump'.
