Terminal emulation for HPUX
best supports pageup/down, line drawing etc. xterm works pretty well - but
vt100 or ansi from a number of clients (including Windows Terminal, SCO telnet,
FTP Software's wtnvt) seem not to provide very good support.
Is there a java applet client?
Suggestions on client (preferably software) and TERM setting combinations would
be appreciated!

Re: Terminal emulation for HPUX
There seems to be documentation availiable for vt-100 than any other, but wy60
is also popular.
Xterm or Ansi are good ones to use if your app might be run on another
platform.
Good Luck!

Re: Terminal emulation for HPUX
hpterm or dtterm, xterm is less specific to platforms ie HP, as are some of the
other choices, though xterm is pretty robust on most plattforms.
They all work more or less the same, some of the older varieties may have lost
supported functionality whith changes between say 9.xx and 10/11.xx or X11R5 &
X11R6 libs etc.
