I want to install HPUX 11 on my HP Visualize B1000. However, the display connector that connect from monitor cable cable to display card is missing.
I don't know how to connect the monitor.
Can i install the os from the dumb terminal?
Please guide me..
TQ

Re: Terminal
Connect to the console port through the hyper terminal. And you can install.

Re: Terminal
On a workstation it is not possible if you have not console port if you have console port you can. But you can connect any normal monitor to your workstation if it has a 15 Pin D-type female VGA port & then by changing resolution setting you can use that monitor.

Re: Terminal
You can use normal serial console cable (Not parallel) to connect this to a serial port of a PC/Laptop. There will not be a prompt untill machine boots so power recycle the machine and then wait for something to come on terminal. Also check that terminal is a working one.
