Re: To check a MC/SG cluster.
CMVIEWCL - View status information about a running SG cluster.
cmviewcl [-v] [-r {A.11.09|A.11.12}] [-c CN] [[-n NN]... | [-p PN]...]
[-l {package|cluster|node|group}]
[ -r {A.11.09|A.11.12}] - output changed at A.11.12 - select output method
[-n %lt;nodename> View information only about the specific node_name(s).
[-p package_name... View information only about the specific package_name(s).
[-l] pkg|clus|node Display only package, cluster or node specific information.
Eg: cmviewcl -r A.11.09 -v -p orapkg
Also you could try....
CMSCANCL - Gather cluster-related details
AVAILABLE WITH REVISION 10.10 and LATER
cmscancl [-n NN]... [-s| -o output_file]
[-n
[-o output_file] Send output to specified file (/tmp/scancl.out = default)
[-s] Send output to display only
NOTE: Requires .rhosts permit root access by all nodes

Re: To check a MC/SG cluster.
To get the current status of the cluster:
# cmviewcl -v
To check the cluster configuration:
# cmcheckconf
Other than this you can monitor your Cluster by looking at it's log files:
1. /etc/cmcluster/pkg1/*.log (Package Log)
2. /etc/cmcluster/*.log (Cluster Log)
3. /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log (System Log)
Hope that helps.

Re: To check a MC/SG cluster.
In fact, "mcviewcl -v" wiil be usefull for you. Also look for "HP Serviceguard Manager" free depot client software and selects the operative platform flavor that more suits you.

Re: To check a MC/SG cluster.
cmscancl and cmviewcl are the best command line tools, in addition ,You can use service guard manager (sgmgr) GUI interface for monitoring, administring and configuring the service-guard.(For full functionallity service-guard A.11.16 and later).
for more info Pls see the link
http://docs.hp.com -> high availability -> Serviceguard.

Re: To check a MC/SG cluster.
'HP Cluster Consistancy Service 2-3 node'.
It's a bit expensive, but it will
trigger you if within MC/SG there is
some inconsistancy if you update one
node and forget the other.
