top/uptime load increased after install of EMC Powerpath 2.0.1

top/uptime load increased after install of EMC Powerpath 2.0.1

Recently I've installed EMCs Powerpath SW (v2.0.1) on two of my L2000 (hpux 11.0). Since that both top and uptime show a higher load although response time and overall performance seem to be ok so far.

Anybody else seeing/seen this?
If so- are you going to do sth about it?

I've powerpath installed and I do not have any problem!
I think it's not normal.
Can you give some more details?
What are the processes?
What is your system class?
Use glance for better troubleshooting.

Compare the cumulative CPU time for the Powerpath process to other ones? if that is the highest, or near the highest then you should look into it. Also, check the log files for such software as well if there is any.
