Trusted System - Reboot

I found that I didn't have to reboot the system after I converted it to trusted system, is that true ?
Because I am going to do it on other server, which is now running some production applications, it's expensive and risky to reboot such server ...
If I don't reboot the system after the conversion, is there any disadvantage ?
Thanks!

Re: Trusted System - Reboot

Making the system trusted doesn't require a reboot. You can also "untrust" a system without rebooting.

Re: Trusted System - Reboot

Correct. A reboot is not required.
Complete instructions for converting to Trusted, including considerations prior to converting are located at
