Re: Trying to convert vg00 LVM disks to rootdg VxVM.

Hi:

You cannot directly convert a LVM boot disk (vg00) to a VxVM one using the 'vxvmconvert' tool. This is discussed in chapter-2 of the Veritas Volume Manager 4.1 Migration Guide:

http://www.docs.hp.com/en/5991-1841/5991-1841.pdf

It is noted, however, that the 'vxcp_lvmroot' (1M) command will allow the creation of a VxVM root disk from the contents an existing LVM root disk, using a
spare physical disk. This is discussed in chapter-2 of the VERITAS Volume Manager Administrator's Guide:

http://www.docs.hp.com/en/5991-1838/5991-1838.pdf

Regards!
