Two bundles of one product in same cdrom media

Hi

I have to install "DCE/9000 CDS server, Media and Manuals". It exists in first September/2003 Application CD media as two different bundles: B2924B and B3187B. Both have the same filesets and the same filenames.

What is the difference ?

They should be for 700 and 800.
What are the description of the products?

Hi,

I agree with Massimo. Typically the diff bundles are for either server (800) or workstation (700). But if you drill down into the pkg for the Info text, it should tell you explicitly.

As Massimo pointed out, it must be for 700 and 800 series. Check the depot/bundle name for the correct bundle. Even if you select both, swinstall will ignore the unrelated one.

and then

note: "either 1 OK"
Both products are identical and either one will run on a S700 or S800 series. Only 1 of the 2 products needs to be installed. The reason both products are provided is for upward/upgrade compatibility with the 10.20 products.
